Good move. I need more testers for scons.
Currently, scons is trying to ensure a correct build under the same
command line options for all platforms, and for lyx1.4 and 1.5.
Whenever you see scons fails after a correct configure, you should
report the problem even if it is caused by your wrongful use of scons.
Hello Bo,
I have two bug report for you:
1) The first time you run scons on a freshly created build directory it
always stop complaining it doesn't have the right to access "version.C".
Then a second call to scons solves the problem.
2) When compiling with autotools, I used to pass
"--with-version-suffix=-svn" and I don't see any equivalent option in
scons. This is very important as it enables two installation to cohabit
at the user level:
C:\Documents and Settings\yns\Application Data\lyx
C:\Documents and Settings\yns\Application Data\lyx-svn
Thanks,
Abdel.
