I have been following this thread (and past related ones) with great interest as I will be forced to upgrade to a retina Mac in the next 6 months or so. Could someone post some screen shots that show the on-screen quality on a retina mac versus non-retina? How is the image quality on a non-retina external display hooked up to a retina Mac? Sounds like typing responsiveness is also an issue as well.
