They're all different, requiring learning each one, they ask the wrong questions, and in most cases bugtrackers are where problems go to die. On April 10 2022 I took an hour or so creating CSS that reproduced LyX' standard of not indenting the first paragraph after a heading, and posted it on the list, asking that somebody forward it to the developer's list. I posted the complete CSS. I solved the problem and all I got for my trouble was criticism. Screw it.
