Solved it! 1. Even though I had made no changes to my setup, I needed to click on Tools > Reconfigure, after which it found knitr and generated pdfs, though it then couldn't find any of the image files, so... 2. I had to click on each image and point it once again to the relevant .png file, EVEN THOUGH THEIR NAMES AND PATH HAD NOT CHANGED!
Still a bit of a mystery and solution is more Sheer Luck Jones than Sherlock Holmes, but thank you for all your help. Sincerely, Tom ________________________________ From: Jean-Marc Lasgouttes <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, January 17, 2025 12:36 PM To: Thomas Philips <[email protected]>; [email protected] <[email protected]> Cc: Doug Martin <[email protected]>; Stoyan Stoyanov <[email protected]> Subject: Re: Trouble with knitr in LyX 2.4.3 Le 17/01/2025 à 18:01, Thomas Philips a écrit : > Hello JMarc, > I found the following system variables (see below). Is it found? I do not see the R binary folders in your path, and it should be there for LyX to work. JMarc
