That seems like a very special case. What might be more generally useful
would be "Select section", or something like that. Then you could do
with it what you wanted. I am pretty sure we do this anyway for "Move
Section Up", etc. I.e., we select it, cut it, and paste it. So it would
just be a matter of refactoring that code and introducing an appropriate
LFUN.
I am trying to catch up with this discussion. However, I do not see the
idea here. We have "Select Section" in the outline context menu, right?
You do that, and then "Insert Branch" and you're done with it, AFAIU.
