In some lecture notes, I used to have the nomenclature in 2 separate
"old-fashioned" tables. I have created a KOMA book file and inserted these 2
tables in File_nomenclature_2024.lyx (this version of the tables works fine).

When LyX 2.4 came out, I tried to merge these tables in a single, multi page
table. I have attached a file containing the new table in
File_nomenclature_2025.lyx.

I did not have problems with previewing (pdf) or spell checking the document
containing the multi page table prior to LyX 2.4.4, as far as I remember (or
perhaps I didn't try it).

Now, with LyX 2.4.4, when I copy the table from the lecture notes and paste it
into a new, minimal KOMA Book template, I get the following behavior (with file
File_nomenclature_2025.lyx):

1. I can preview the file (as pdf) once I have just pasted the multi-page table
into it.
2. If I try to spell-check the document, LyX crashes big time.
3. If I re-start LyX and try to open the file, LyX never even opens on my
Windows 11 PC.
4. If I paste the multi-page table into the KOMA Book template, preview it, and
exit the file without trying to spell-check, and then try to open it again, LyX
crashes big time. [In other words: you may not even be able to open
File_nomenclature_2025.lyx]

*Preliminary analysis*:
a. The behavior indicates that there is something wrong with the table.
-- Has there been a change from earlier versions of LyX 2.4 than LyX 2.4.4? Or
can my file have been corrupted?
-- The problem with the table blocks the file from being opened (LyX crashes)
-- The problem with the table blocks the table from being spell checked (LyX
crashes)
-- However, if I am able to open the file with the table (only works when I
paste it from another file), I can generate a pdf file
-- The peculiar thing is that I can open the original file containing the table
(huge file). OK -- sometimes, opening that, too, crashes LyX. But it seems like
sometimes (but not always) if I rename the file, I can open it. Very weird.

b. Alternatively, somehow my LyX installation has become corrupted??
--
If anyone figures out what is wrong, kindly let me know. I spent some time
creating the "2025" version of the table, and would like to avoid creating it
anew.
