Even if you don't use them much, I still wonder if > they could be causing problems. > Scott Hello Scott, I've managed to reproduce this, it has no relation to the previews as i tested it with and without them (in the preferences i've disabled them for the comparison), what causes the memory leak seems to be the background changing (at least on my windows 11), the background is set to cycle photos from my gallery, and every time a background image changes LyX freeze, adds more RAM usage and then returns to working.
