As with many others I'm trying to get prosper to work. I tried you simple example after your presentation failed and Dekel's cluster also failed. With the simple example I get 24 errors curiously enough lyx complains about a sty file PPRsimple.sty which is not in prosper and also not to be found on CTAN? I'm using Lyx 1.2.1 under cygwin, and using miktex. I have prosper installed and the equiv. of texrehashed! I put your layout file .lyx\layouts and did a Edit>Reconfigure Lyx seems to find the "slides ( prosper )" layout file alright because it shows up under Layout>Document>Class. Do you have anything more than the standard prosper package which you can get off sourceforge? Rob
