Aha.. yes, you are right of course. PPRsimple.sty is a Prosper style
someone else has created (i.e. right now it's in the contrib/ catalog
where Prosper is installed). However, I've now put that file (and
dsfont.sty and colortblx.sty) in this catalog:

also, to make it simpler for you, I've tar:ed the simple example and you
can download all of it from here:
http://www.md.kth.se/~chr/lyx/presentation/simple_example.tar.gz
So try downloading that (either the files separately, or the .tar-file)
and run LyX again (hoping that there are less errors this time :-)
