Seriously offtopic but I think I am just generally annoyed with
Mandrake.  For example, they left out tex-site.el completely from their
auctex rpm and didn't provide a -devel package at all...  (you need
tex-site.el to compile preview-latex.  I got it all working in the end
by doing everything from tar balled source)
