A Windows frontend? The qt version from Ruurd feels very native: http://www.home.zonnet.nl/rareitsma/lyx/ The only strange thing is, that the clipboard seems to work only in one direction: LyX can write something into the System Clipboard, but it can't read from it, if other programs have written the content.
