Hi all,

I'm using memoir (actually a doc class I've created based on memoir) for my
new book. I want editor's notes to have larger margins on both sides than
normal text (in other words, editors notes would have less chars per line
assuming identical fonts).

I tried \setlrmarginsandblock{}{}{} and \setlrmargins{}{}{} using various
combinations of measurements and asterisks, but they made not one bit of
difference. It was as if the command weren't there. I tried inserting
\checkandfixthelayout after the commands, but that changed nothing.

Any ideas?
