Sorry again,
1) I tried with an English language file without changing the basic language of the document, i.e. remaining in French :it appears to be the same result. I inserted three images, I got 15 errors. always trying to display PDF (pdflatex) Here is a copy of the prepared file. 2) I changed the language in format->document into "anglais" (English), inserted two images then it works properly. Note: when I insert a floating image then i have no problem Have you an idea to bypass this problem and have French accentuation available Thanks regards Paul
