Well - thank's for the hint with LYX_LOCALEDIR. I set it to /Applications/LyX.app/Contents/Resources/locale in ~/.MacOSX/environment.plist and now I have my German userinterface. The Problem is that the interface doesn't show the right charakters for umlauts but e.g. "o instead of รถ. I have a screenshot attached. (LyX 1.4.1, lang de, MacOS X 10.4.6) Thank's for any hints on how to get the right special characters in the menues etc., G.
