What platform are you on, Erez?

On Mac, the installer creates a separate user-directory for 1.6, keeping the 1.5 user directory untouched (and the right one is used automatically). Just give the 1.6-application a different name (e.g. LyX16.app), and the two versions happily co-exist.

And: James' warnings DO apply!
