A minor thing I noticed in LyX 1.6.1: I observed that starting a LyX-Code section using Alt-P,C does not mention the new font in the statusbar -- it still says "Font: Default". Only after moving the cursor away and back on the lyxcode paragraph will it say "Font: Typewriter".
