Additionally, because it displays Font:Default, it also thinks it is in 
default mode one way or another. If, after Alt-P,C, you just start 
typing, the fontface is typewriter, but if instead, you use Ctrl-B after 
Alt-P,C, the used fontface will be roman.

Is not that what I did? Sorry, but I am a bit bugzilla-agnostic
