One further complication I haven't seen mentioned here is that HTML is gradually being replaced by XHTML, where (ideally) the appearance of the document is entirely controlled by one or more style sheets. In principle, I can imagine a LyX layout combined with a LaTeX class generating a CSS style sheet, and vice versa. But I can also envision the practical difficulties. -- Les ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Please avoid sending me Word or PowerPoint attachments.
