Hello LyXers,
a Windows installer for LyX 2.0beta1 is now available.
NOTE: LyX 2.0beta1 is a test release. This beta version will almost be feature-complete but not yet
bug-free. Therefore only use it for testing and not for real documents!
If you find bugs in LyX 2.0beta1, please report them to the LyX bugtracker:

NOTE2: If you install LyX 2.0beta1 on a system with LyX 1.6.x installed, everything should work
fine. The opposite (installing LyX 1.6.x on systems with an installed LyX 2.0alpha or beta release)
can cause troubles with third-party programs like ImageMagick.
NOTE3: The recommended way to upgrade from a LyX 2.0 alpha release to beta 1 is to uninstall the
alpha release _completely_ (including user settings) before installing the beta release
