I've got one of these too. They are similar to the Mac Portable. They run off of the rechargable battery, which you can plug in to recharge. If the builtin rechargables are dead, it's difficult to impossible to get it to turn on. My PX8 needs to be plugged in overnight, and even then it isn't reliable. I need to replace the batteries...
