One of the bits 2,1,0 should be an "open file" flag but I haven't found anything saying which one is which. > BTW, just curious: what function of REX is the most valuable for you? Since I started this project? The ability to backup and restore RAM images. I've cold-started my M100 more times in the last 2 months than I have in the previous 20 years! Not having to install TEENY from scratch every 10 minutes... ;-) Even previously, the multiple RAM images is the feature I use most. Mostly the ROM image is left at TS-DOS, though I do fire up multiplan or lucid once in a while... I'm just not doing a lot of word-processing, outlining, or database stuff these days, and frankly ROM2 kind of scares me. ;-) Willard -- Willard Goosey goo...@sdc.org Socorro, New Mexico, USA I search my heart and find Cimmeria, land of Darkness and the Night. -- R.E.
