Thanks Kurt,I tried formatting a typical 1.44MB disk "just for grins" and it didn't format. The TPDD2 manual specifies 80 tracks 160 "hard sectors", so are you sure these eBay disks will work. I remember the "old days" using hard-sectored 5-1/4" disks and compatibility was a HUGE issue.Dave
