These hoods from mouser came in, and they are perfect. So, if you're willing to deal with crimping pins for a dupont style connector, the Rick Shear pcb fits in this housing with no grief, and the assembled housing fits in a Model 100 with no problem and no hacking needed.

I'm still trying to make a new tiny pcb that goes on the tpdd instead, and you solder a factory molded serial cable to that, but until I get that, Rick's existing pcb plus this enclosure (and this digikey order minus the hoods) works great and supports all models and doesn't look too shabby either. So that's a tolerably doable tpdd cable recipe on the books, a little more realistic and straight-forward than the raw Marty Goodman schematic. http://tandy.wiki/TPDD#Cable Thanks Rick and Mike. -- bkw On Sat, Jun 1, 2019, 5:32 PM Mike Stein <mhs.st...@gmail.com> wrote: > Mouser shows a couple that look like they might fit: > > > https://www.mouser.ca/ProductDetail/HARTING/09670250513?qs=sGAEpiMZZMu5A18b%252BIx2GqJxiHQ0oido%2FVfUIPfHQk4%3D > > > https://www.mouser.ca/ProductDetail/HARTING/09670250411?qs=sGAEpiMZZMu5A18b%252BIx2GqJxiHQ0oido1QO%2FNnySBX8%3D > > ----- Original Message ----- > *From:* Brian White <bw.al...@gmail.com> > *To:* Model 100 Discussion <m100@lists.bitchin100.com> > *Sent:* Saturday, June 01, 2019 1:19 PM > *Subject:* [M100] dsub 25 hood that fits > > Anyone ever find a dsub 25 hood that fits in the serial port openeing on > M100? > > -- > bkw > >
