I've recently dealt with 3 TPDD repairs, but my fixes all turned out to be mechanical. Happy to talk w/ you about comparing symptoms though.

Anyone have a service manual for the TPDD? With the assistance of
a second unit that is working, I have determined the logic board

    can message?

Happy to chat.  I have swapped the mechs from the working unit, as well as the PSU board, and those both work on the logic board from the second unit.  So, I am pretty sure it's a wire or a component on the logic board.

When I boot the unit, after about 10 seconds, it makes a constant 3-5 times per sec flash.  TPDDCLient can't init the unit.
