I repeatedly had issues with the WP-2 keyboards inserting ghost characters when typing relatively fast (appx. 80wpm or faster). I really wanted it to work as a portable writing tablet, but that issue was a deal-breaker for me. I tend to use an Alphasmart Neo for this nowadays, which is completely great for this function, but it doesn’t have that retro-tech charm.
