I use the Wyse thin clients quite a bit at my work for small single-purpose test PCs with DOS and also at home. I have not seen a V90LE with PCMCIA, but the V10 can be found with PCMCIA. I have a few of those running.
My only real problem with using them for retro-computing is that they have AC97 sound with a VIA chipset and I have not been able to figure out how to get any sound-blaster compatibility out of them for games.
