the home, search, and back keys, only work on the touch screen only.
normally they wouldn't work on the qwerty keyboard.
m.a. would always give you that wornning that you might lose speech, but
you
can turn that off, but you shouldn't be losing speech, if your
accessibility, option is checked along with mobile accessibility. see if
you
can get some sighted assistence and check to see if both are checked.
you can go to apps, settings, accessibility, and check them both there.

It's a nice device, running 4g, the other problem that I am having with it
