Hi, Pedro!
I am able to choose a workout now, and I think I have chosen a trainer, but the
trainer won't talk me through! Help?

Hey Daryl:

What you first need to do is register, that way it can remember your settings.

Once you created your account just click on continue… it would ask you, if you
are a female or male, you would have to use your arrow keys up and down to get
to read the two choices… once you make your choice, click on continue, and then
a list of different workouts would pop up.

For example.

Lose weight, strengthen-core, build muscle, etc…

Place a check on the ones you are interested in, and then hit continue.

It would give you another set of workouts, like if you are looking to have a
washboard stomach… click on that and it would give you a choice to preview
workout, or do workout.

If you click on do a workout, and then it would ask you to choose your trainer.
Choose your trainer, and then click on start your workout and it would tell you
what to do step by step. Sometime you would have to hit your menu button twice
to get the trainer to start speaking. Click on start, and

Your trainer at that point would start speaking and guide you in what to do.

If you have some vision, you would be able to view the screen and see the
workout in action.

Your trainer will always keep track of the timing, and it will count down to
the length of the workout.

I hope you understand my explanation, for this app.

Good luck.

Hello, Claudia:

Your phone can be used for so many things… and I know that it would be hard
to think where to begin.
The Facebook app, is not really accessible, but you can go to:
https://m.facebook.com
And use Facebook that way.
What I like to do is download allot of apps, and test out how accessible
they are… and write to the companies to see if they are able to make it more
accessible to the blind community.
I also like to download trivia games, a lot of those are accessible, and fun
to play.
If you are into working out from home, you can check out a cool app, that’s
pretty much accessible, it’s called:
Workout trainer.
It comes with a couple of good clear human voices that describes what to do
in your workout. There’s a free version, and a pay version… I! don’t think
there’s much different between the two.
You can also have a lot of fun with Jeannie, the android version of siri.
Jeannie, can almost answer most of your questions, sometimes with a
sarcastic tone.
If you want to listen to Jeannie in action click on this link:

I am now testing out allot of video chat apps, to see how accessible they
are. I know for some it wouldn’t be important to use, but some people have
family overseas or in other states, and their family would want to see them.

I hope this have giving you some ideas, of all the different things you can
do with your a! ndroid phone.
I am sure that many people on this list will give you more ideas.

Hi,

Please tell me what applications out there are accessible. I want to
use my phone for more than just calling and texting.
I do have Facebook, but I don't yet know how to access that, with my
Android phone.

Ideas would be much appreciated!

I'd also like to know where and how to install other ringtones, other
than what my phone comes with.
I have the Samsung Sidekick 4G!

Claudia
