Hi Claudia, I have a Nexus 4, but it's all Kit Kat. Your friend should go to one of the home screens, open 'apps' and open the 'messaging' app. That will start with a screen with a list of 'conversations'. He should find the person he's interested in an double-tap it to open the list of messages.
Once he's comfortable with that, there is an alternative. If a message comes in, it shows up as an alert. Just do a 2-finger swipe from the top of the screen to open the status tray. Scroll down to the message alert and double-tap it - That will open the messaging app and the conversation. Hope that helps, Brian. -- Brian Sellden Enterprise Application Integration (m) 303.946.2294 (h) 303.972.0833 -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Claudia Sent: Wednesday, February 19, 2014 9:42 PM To: 'Mobile Accessibility Android Users List' Subject: [MA] Google Nexus 5 He does not know how to check his voice mail, get to his messages and read through them, if he misses them, through the Bluetooth.
