ABOUT AJAHN BRAHM
Born in London, Ajahn Brahm completed his degree in Theoretical
Physics at Cambridge University. After teaching for a year, he
travelled to Thailand and ordained as a monk at the age of twenty-
three.
Thereafter, Ajahn Brahm began his training in the Thai forest
tradition under Ajahn Chah. He is presently the Abbot of Bodhinyana
Monastery and the Spiritual Director of the Buddhist Society of
Western Australia.
Ajahn Brahm has gathered many stories through his encounters with
the lay people and his experience in building a monastery from
scratch. These heartwarming stories reveal the qualities of humility
and diligence and expose moments of insight, wisdom and compassion
in the lives of ordinary people.
His book "Opening the Door of Your Heart" which has captured the
hearts of many, encapsulates modern tales of hope and love,
