Hello Jim

The server version is quite a lot different.  And the price is a lot higher.  
The server version you'd probably want to delete the OS that is pre-installed 
and replace it with the regular OS because Server requires quite a lot more 
specifics than regular OS does.  And that includes a unique product activation. 
 if you want to pay the extra for the hardware that's fine, it would work.  But 
not "out of the box" unless you're in an environment where you would benefit 
from the server.

I suggest that you go for the regular client version unless you need the extra 
stuff.
