To address your first point, I don't think he intended to come across as 
patronising; but I can see why you might have thought that.  It was a little 
abrupt. It is unfortunate that emaill can be like that at time when people 
don't take sufficient care and I don't think Gordon did on this occasion.

But to be utterly fair Jim, you did ask this very question two or three days 
ago. I'm sorry that Gordon came across that way and I'll have a word with him 
about it.

To address your second point, is this the upgrade and migration document you're 
talking about? If so, it's quite deep in places.
