Hi Gordon,

On the crucial.com web site, I can just go to the search text box at the start
of the page and type in, for example "mid 2011 mac mini i5" and press return.
This seems to come back with a list of acceptable memory modules for the Mac
Mini. Of course, you may have a different model that you want to input. I
actually tried this first on my iPad (where I was reading you mail, and opened
the link) by setting the rotor to "Form controls", moved to the "text field",
and typed in the search. This also works on the Mac. On the search results
page, navigate to the heading "Updates for Desktop/PC", and read the results.
If you're using a Magic Trackpad you can just flick through here.

Gordon, there may have been something slightly strange about the pop up button
for "Select Manufacturer" in the "Step 1" phase (where you select your
manufacturer, product line, and model). On the iPad using Safari, I tried
checking the search by using the "Crucial Memory Adviser Tool" again from the
results page of my search. Double tapping on the first pop up didn't bring up
the selection the first time I tried it. It was only on the second double tap
that the pop up menu came up, and I could select "Apple". I think that I had
the same problem when I tried activating this pop up button in Safari on my
Macbook Pro, after following the same procedure: type "mid 2011 mac mini i5"
into the search text box and press return, then check the results page (which
seemed fine), and try to run the tool to check the result listings. It didn't
seem to "take" the first time I tried to click on the pop up. (This was both
with moving mouse cursor to the button and clicking and with usin
g QuickNav activated press of the Up and Down Arrow keys. I've not updated
to either Safari 5.1, iTunes 10.4 or Lion, so your results may differ.)

In any case, a simple search typed in the text field works. I
HTH. Cheers,

Esther
