Hello Nic

The thought of users being able to see my network usage unnerves me, to be
honest. Or at least sharing our buying information unnerves me. But I can see
the advantage of it in some respects.

Hi!

Ping also enables artists to make posts linking directly to their albums, or
keep their followers updated with tour dates, current events, what they're
doing and so-forth. Users can then comment on it and discuss it as they wish,
or review user or artist profile.

I personally use it on occasion, as it lets me link to Twitter so when I buy an
album, I can choose to write a reason for buying the album which is then
published on Twitter along with a direct link to the album in iTunes. You don't
have to do this, however, so you can simply skip it.

Regards,
Nic
