Hi zack, I too am on dev with apple on this,

I don't want to appear too tech on here to frighten users. basically, there's a
glitch within the user layer of IOS5 which seems to have popped up in 5.01
possibly where if all apps have been killed in app switcher, IOS encounters a
background crash. no errors given on device, instead, silence, reboots,
voiceover becomes buggy at startup, runs fine, then about 4 to 5 mins later it
repeats and continues. kind of like you would have a cyclic redundancy crash in
windows XP as an example due to a hardware fault.

I've sent info to apple on this as I cover my back all the time.
