Thanks Eric for the tips, will contact apple to see if they can reset the 
password and take it from there.  My Icloud email has not been working for 
quite some time now.  In fact, I can send emails from it but I can't receive 
emails to this account.  Every time I send an email to my icloud address the 
message comes back with a delivery error with something like "user 
unknown"…strange indeed so I'll definitely get in touch withapple to see what 
can be done about this.
