VO says blank because there is a blank space on the line where the graphic for
unread message would be. This blank means that your message is not an unread
message. If it was an unread message, the line would be read, beginning with
the word unread.

I do not find this to be a problem, personally. To me it means that VO is
reading out all of the information that is available to seeing users. /smile/

Hi. i am trying out the classic layout in mail. it seems pretty good except
that vo says blank at the beginning of each message as i'm navigating the list.
is there any way i can get vo to stop saying blank, and then from etc? Hope
i'm making sense. i noticed in the classic layout view you can choose which
headers to see. is there a way to do this in the other view?

thanks again
