Hi Sarah, I keep forgetting about that handy context menu. Alas the delete option was not available for the home calendar but it was available for another empty calendar I had accidentally created. I am using icloud which is maybe why the home calendar would not delete. At present my Google calendar is being synced with my iPhone but am not sure why - is it via icloud or via another mechanism? I will go and look at my icloud setup. Best wishes....
