I won't be using the DJay Mic system. We have a nest of 4 K500 broadcast microphones around studio B and 6 around studio A which is also the master control room. There's a spare channel on the mixer desk so all I'm going to do is run a mini-jack from the computer into the desk. That way I have access to the CD machines as well as to my computer. I always, absolutely always, keep at least one track queued up on stand-by on external equipment just in case something spits the dummy. It happens, and if you have nothing queued you get to sound like a real amateur. :)

It will stop playback. I found this out the hard way when I messed up on my mic. lol! <--- Mac Access At Mac Access Dot Net ---> To reply to this post, please address your message to mac-access@mac-access.net You can find an archive of all messages posted to the Mac-Access forum at either the list's own dedicated web archive: <http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/pipermail/mac-access/index.html> or at the public Mail Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/mac-access@mac-access.net/>.
