The quickest way is to go to desktop dock etc and use the shortcut shift
command u for utilities and then type dis or arrow down to disk utility.
Alternatively, gshift command a goes to applications then type uti or arrow
down to utilities right arrow to expand and then move down to disk utilities.
Command o to open and your in. I use shift command u to save the extra steps
but if you forget the hotkey, utilities is under applications and if all else
fails, go to finder, vo m for the menu, type g for the g for the go menu and
menu items with their associated hot keys can be found for applucations
desktop, home etc and finally, command space for spotlight search and type the
name for disk utilities or any other app or file for that matter and arrow to
the wanted item and press enter.
