Hello. I, so far, am loving my new Mac Mini. Its truly all I've wanted from a
computer. Only problem is, I don't have a monitor, I really don't want to need
a monitor. I thought the mac might work with my PC monitor, but the mac doesn't
have a serial port. Yes, that's what my PC monitor had, and I bought it like 2
years ago. Gotta love HP. Anyways, now, my function key settings don't stay
like I put them, and whenever I leave the mac alone for maybe an hour, I come
back and the password field when logging in is dimmed. A press of the power
button, a wait of around 5 second, and a pressing again of the power button
fixes this. Another problem is in the macsword program. I can select a Bible
version, and all that, but I can't get past the splitter thing, to the content.
And the only other hardware I have that has anything to do with a monitor is
the supplied HDMI cable, and I don't think we have any HDMI devices. I don't
have much money in my Visa card now, so I'd really like t
o have a way to just use what I have. I have a windows computer, running
windows vista, an iPod 4th generation, and an HP monitor, with a serial port
video thing, and a headphone style speaker plugin.
