Yes, must have another look at Pages at some stage, a considerable time has elapsed since I've had a good play with Apples Word Processing app.
I've been happily using Nisus Writer Pro though I don't use it for creating tables and the like, in the past if I've wanted to include tables in a document I've designed the table in the "Tables" spreadsheet application and pasted the table into Nisus, that way I know what the table is going to look like before its put into the Nisus document I'm working on.
