hi all -

I have a moderate sized Windows spreadsheet, say a couple of hundred or so rows
of 5 columns. When I open it in Numbers, I get told that there is a problem
with the font the spreadsheet is in, and I change the font to aerial. I've also
tried ignoring this message about the font, as I'm not worried how it looks,
and will never want to print it. Either way, I am able to get to see the
spreadsheet in it's layout. The problem comes when I want to search the
spreadsheet for certain description information. If I use VO f to find some
text, Numbers then seems to hang, and even locks up the Mac, by saying "busy"
all the time. Also, if I do fn VO and right arrow to get to the end of the
spreadsheet, again, I get "busy' and it just hangs there.

Anybody help me get beyond this?

Thanks -

Andy
