Hello Eileens

In VoiceOver Utility, (VoiceOver+F8), scroll down to the Braille category and 
look under the Layout tab. There you will see q checkboxes; Use Contracted 
Braille, and Use 8-Dot Braille. Modify their status to suit your needs. You 
might also want to turn off the status cells. Gordon has the Apex and these 
cells just wasted space for him.
