Hi,
I went through the Blackboard experience and I keep a very negative feeling
of it.
Make sure the disability services agrees to provide the resources in
electronic or Braille or audio format, or, alternatively, have a PA set up
to help.
Best,
Hatch.

Subject: Blackboard
Dear listers,
I am looking to do a degree in the new year, as some of you may know.
Apparently, a lot of universities in the UK use Blackboard for their
virtual learning web site and will be a key part of the resources I will
need to use.
I have to provide an assessment of the assistance I will need for the
course and I have heard rumours that Blackboard is not very friendly for
screen readers.
I would appreciate any comments or experience of Blackboard and any
alternative solutions should it prove not to be accessible.
Thanks in advance
Ian
