Hi Sarah and Others,

As a side effect of checking out Sarah's question about IPA symbols for 
phonetic representation, I notice that under iOS 7 the individual phonetic 
characters for pronouncing words in dictionary entries can now be read out by 
VoiceOver.   For example, if you have downloaded the "Oxford Dictionary of 
English" (as opposed to the New Oxford American Dictionary), and check the 
entry for "woman", when you read off the phonetic symbols that follow the word 
with the rotor set to character, VoiceOver will say, "w" "upsilon", "m", 
"schwa", and "n", to indicate the
