Hello to all. I'm thinking of setting up file vault on my mid 2009 mbp 13 inch I read the directions and one of them said that you will be prompted to log in. I have voice over set to speak at the log on prompt so will this part be accessible? I'm a bit confused by that part. It's probably not the instructions, but me that's confused. I want my stuff to be safe in case my computer gets in to the wrong hands.
to conclude, is the initial set up accessible, and afterwords when I have to log in every time I turn the computer on? Also, when I back up to time machine from this point forward, what gets backed up? Does the encryption key get backed up as well? How about my CCC back up? Will that drive be auto incripted? or will I even be able to make a bootable drive after this? Take care. <--- Mac Access At Mac Access Dot Net ---> To reply to this post, please address your message to mac-access@mac-access.net You can find an archive of all messages posted to the Mac-Access forum at either the list's own dedicated web archive: <http://mail.tft-bbs.co.uk/pipermail/mac-access/index.html> or at the public Mail Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/mac-access@mac-access.net/>.
