This seems to be a bug in the latest version of Mavericks, or perhaps it is
just a VoiceOver bug. . I cannot get it to work at all, even when I interact
with the table. My new signature is listed, but I can’t get it to display at
the bottom of messages which I send. I’ve even tried switching to None in the
pop-up menu that appears before the Priority menu, but still no dice. I have no
problem manually putting in my signature prior to sending each message, but I’m
wondering if this will be fixed in Yosemite.

In the demonstrations section of my website, I did a podcast on creating and
using mail signatures. If that isn't clear to you, please let me know and I'll
try to break it down into steps to help you.
