I tried the insert menu as well. but the section always went to the end of the document. This has been an issue under mavericks as well and I'm up to date. I'm also having the can't select multiple pages issue. I think I might try a reinstall hopeing I won't loose my 1 templet I made. and the function is still there it says
insert section, cmd shift enter.
