Ah interesting, I asked the question because I was not getting Audasity to
work and now I know why, you say it is broken!!! Oh well.

The other folders, or in this case folder is called utilities. You can
put the audacity app (I don't use it anymore as it is broken) in to the
root of that apps folder and you will be fine.
